I do not feel like writing in German right now. So here's what I have to say (but in English):

today's been really weird ... lots of good things and lots of bad things at the same time. First I had to get up early (at 6) so I could spend the next 7 hours at McDonald's. Bad thing # 1

I got home and found that I finally received the final requirement in order to apply for my student visa for my trip to Japan. good thing #1.

I'm now ready to apply for my visa (I have the application filled out, etc), so I called the Japanese consulate in Denver to see if it'd be quicker to mail everything or just to bring it in in person. they said that I could mail it, but I'd need to send them my passport and a letter with my signature saying that they aren't responsible for my passport if it's lost. so, I'm going to have to take apply in person since I don't want to do that. It's about an hour north of where I live. bad thing #2.

I decided to check the news of one of the bands (Der Bote) I do a fansite for http://www.undesregnet.com and found that they have a new site design, and that there was a ton of news since last night...including the label they just signed with and samples of all of the newly mixed tracks from their upcoming debut cd. good thing #2

I'm thirsty. bad thing #3

I have a Mountain Dew. good thing #3

I was supposed to go see a movie and have dessert this evening with a girl I like. I asked her if she'd like to go early this week, and she said that she'd love to go. good thing #4

she realized that she had already promised another friend (an exchange student from Russia) that she'd go see the play her friend is in...which happens to be tonight. bad thing #4
